DAVID AND ANGIE EBENSBERGER

David and Angie Ebensberger have been actively involved in the arts for over 40 years, with their primary focus being music. They met and married in Texas in the US and quickly became active in writing and producing music professionally for a local production company. It was during this time that Angie signed a recording contract and released two CD’s and David wrote and produced music for emerging and established recording artists, primarily in the Gospel and  Contemporary Christian genre. David was nominated for a Grammy award for his work with gospel/R&B legend, Al Green. In an effort to be more at the center of the music industry, they moved to Nashville, Tennessee (Music City USA) in 1992. Shortly after arriving, they secured a contract as staff songwriters for Meadowgreen Publishing. David continued his work as a producer and Angie lent her vocal talents to countless projects as a studio singer. Their twenty years in Nashville was spent creating music and raising their family. They have four daughters, Abigail, Emily, Phoebe and Ruby. It was in Nashville that they also began to use their musical abilities in the context of their church. This led to a unique opportunity to help establish a new church (Lifepoint Church) in Brussels, Belgium in 2011, where they served as the music directors for three years. While in Belgium, David and Angie were invited by Creative Arts Europe and The European Worship Institute to participate in arts camps and conferences throughout Europe and became part of an international network of artists with whom they continue to collaborate. These experiences profoundly impacted them and though they returned to the US in 2014, they hoped to return to Belgium in the future. Upon returning to the US, David served as Worship Arts Director for Montgomery Community Church in Cincinnati, Ohio for five years. Then, in 2020, they returned to Belgium, formed Creative Arts Belgium (asbl) and have now opened ETINCELLE, a center for creativity and community in Namur. David and Angie share a passion for helping others discover and pursue their unique gifts. They are excited about the opportunity to inspire and be inspired by the creative people of Namur while continuing to pursue their work throughout Europe.
